The past 2 weeks

Hi~ Time for another blog post. Going to make it a short one. Basically almost all my New Year's resolutions is not going well, especially the diet (Cough).. Recently I've also been spending on a lot of stuff and I need to start preparing for Lunar New Year and my trips which is around the corner. Not sure if I'm suppose to be excited.. But ye.

Went out with sister and had brunch at Secret Recipe and really, I just find it 'o-k' only. Their food is normal and the cake is super sweet. I wanted to order other cheesecakes but apparently everything is sold out!? Was kinda disappointed. The service is just meh too. Anyway. I'm super in love with white marble stuff lately. I was hoping to buy some white marble stuff back home and 'decorate' my room but I can hardly find any thing even though the mall is so big. Was looking for a nice wall art too but..!

So we went shopping at Nex after that and I bought a couple of blouses (So broke). Tried the duo cup from Black Ball too. All I can say is I think that it is really not worth it (LOL). And ye, dinner at Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert. Nothing special but ye just a opinion:

Friendly staff, and the place is brightly lit. And I think the best part is that they're opened till pretty late. It is not easy to find a proper eatery after retail hours so this is quite a good place to go.

Went buffet with my colleagues after work yesterday. Always wanted to give Penang Street Buffet a try which I finally did yesterday. 'Once is enough'. It was a disappointment. I always have high expectation for it but the taste of the food is too average. Their variety is consider really little for a buffet too. Their seafood aren't really fresh. The nicest food there will be the Yam paste gingko nuts. It is really nice, even my colleagues agree. Second best will prolly be the Egg Tarts - it was soft and creamy (I had two!!). However their service is not really good (lol) and the seatings are actually really near each other. This family with so many kids was seated behind me so you can imagine how annoying it was. The kids keep hitting my chair and was so rowdy. I was really irritated so I turned and glared at them. Their mother saw and told them not to be so playful but (Rolls eyes).

Other than that I guess it is worth a try for experience though I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. Told my mum there isn't really anything that is fabulous there but she still wants to try at least once so I guess some time later I would find myself there again. By the way I think we paid $34.70 per person only so ye it is still considered quite cheap. OH OH and one thing. The table is too high/the chairs is too low to eat comfortably. Would have to sit real straight to eat and if you're planning to go there please ensure that your armpits don't smell too cause you will find yourself 'airing' it when eating. Serious.

ANNND this is all for now and ye I hope I will stop eating ok goodnight.
